Rottweiler is a large dog breed originating from Germany. Rottweiler was primarily used for herding livestock and for guarding both people or property. They got their name after a town called Rottweil in province of Wurttemburg. Rottweiler is also called Rottie.

American Cocker Spaniel originates from United States and was primarily used for hunting. Because this midsized dog breed became such a popular companion dog it began loosing it’s hunting traits. To conserve their hunting abilities there are still Cocker Spaniels that are bred especially for fieldwork.

Cairn Terrier’s country of origin is Scotland and as it’s name suggests it was used to hunt animals burrowing in cairns. Cairns are stones primarily used as landmarks and are very common on the Scotland hills. Cairn terrier is one of the oldest terrier breeds in the world.
